About Brunswick Heads

As a psychologist working in Brunswick Heads you will enjoy all that the town and surrounding Byron Bay area has to offer.

Brunswick Heads is a small yet lively coastal village on the NSW north coast, situated at the mouth of the Brunswick River. Located just 15 minutes north of Byron Bay, it's only 30 minutes by car from both Ballina Byron Airport and Gold Coast Airport giving you the opportunity for easy travel to Sydney and Melbourne.

While Brunswick Heads continues to evolve it has also kept its traditional coastal charm and a 'seaside village' atmosphere. A classic timber bridge provides a place for kids to jump into the turquoise river at high tide and links the riverside to Torakina, a beautiful beach at the mouth of the Brunswick River. The nearby surf beach spans the coastline all the way to Byron Bay.

The north bank of the river is home to a protected rainforest and their are still river side spots that are secluded every day of the year. Mt Chincogan and Mt Warning provide a spectacular hinterland backdrop to the riverside and beachside town.
